Developing Accessible Instructions for an Online Screener of Cognitive Impairments in Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders
Many children with neurodevelopmental disorders undergo cognitive testing to assess a variety of abilities. However, these tests are traditionally administered in person by a psychologist. While some tests are now available online, they still need to be administered by a registered clinician There is a need to develop auditory and visual instructions for existing online cognitive tests that children with neurodevelopmental disorders understand. To do this, we must first gather feedback on current instructions that are provided. This study aims to gather feedback about existing online cognitive test instructions. Specifically, we are gathering this feedback to inform how the instructors will be modified in the future. Your child will complete a battery of online cognitive tests. After each test you and your child will be asked a series of questions about them.
